Mexico Beach is the Forgotten Coast at its most straightforward: a small Gulf town, a long run of pale sand, and a pace that still feels like a fishing village that learned how to host families. It is less peninsula-wild than Cape San Blas and less “downtown bay town” than Port St. Joe. You come for the beach in front of you and the town that still fits on a short drive.
